Rocketeers Treated to Private Screening of Star Wars: The Force Awakens

Star Wars: The Force Awakens by Matthew Warlick

Last Friday, Rocketeers took the afternoon off to enjoy the release of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” the movie event of the decade, on opening day.

(Don’t worry, this is a spoiler free zone.)

Before the movie started, over 200 Rocketeers grew eager as they lined up out the door to the reserved movie theater. As people trailed in with their families, friends, and fellow Rocketeers, they couldn’t help but notice the limited edition popcorn tins filled to the brim at each seat. Finally, an unveiled painting done by a former Star Wars artist turned Rocketeer added a bonus to the experience.

Star Wars is an important part of the Bottle Rocket culture. Not only does it feed our inner nerds, but it a great reminder of the constant struggle between the light and darkness in all of us. As our Founder and CEO will tell you, these movies help us to remember never to let go of our inner child and allow us to dream, play, and imagine – no matter your age.

Jealous? This sort of employee treat is not a rare occurrence at Bottle Rocket! Perhaps you should consider joining our team.

Oh yeah, and May the force be with you.
